I am still unsure of what route to take with the Digipak, however, if i decide to do the art style i have created the panels for it. The process is shown in the video in which, i drew the band member and proceed to add color. The text will be added on a different program as the text on Kirka doesn't offer a font that i think fits with the genre.

The process of creation is based upon different layers of which i drew and then add color, each layer has a different color leading to there being 47 on the artwork. This was done using a Wacom graphics tablet which allows for me to draw onto the computer.








However, alongside this i have been trying out some minimalistic CD covers as it is quite frequently used within the genre, such as Arctic Monkey's cover for "Am" and The XX's self titled album. These CD covers convey the same messages and symbolism of the others but with a different style.
I quite like the simplicity of this cover and back as it is not distracting, however, this also meaning that it isn't as powerful as the other pieces.




Although, despite making these, i think i am going to pursue a different route and edit photos on Photoshop instead. Such images look more credible such as this as a front cover, in replacement of a drawing. I will still have the colors matching the video, as to keep with the theme. It also allows me to develop my skills on Photoshop, as i am not very experienced with it.

EVALUATION QUESTION 3 "what have you learned from your audience feedback?"  The third evaluation question asks what i have learned from my audience feedback, so in response i record three peoples reactions to my music video, followed by questions to evaluate it and my ancillary products. As well as this, i conducted an in-class focus group from fellow media students on how to improve my music video during the final stages of the editing process. The sample that used worked well as the majority of them fell in my target audience demographic.  From the feedback, it was clear that my products have been successful in creating a recognizable band identity that is established between all three of my final products. Music Video Analysis Additional Analysis:  You Me At Six- Lived a lie:  This music video is from indie rock band "You Me At Six", i have chosen to look more into this genre as it is the one i intend to use for my own music videos. Therefor, analyzing this will allow me too see the typical codes and conventions of the genre. Camera:  The video opening focuses on the lead vocalist as seen through a medium shot, which empathizes Goodwin notion of "Star Power" as he is the front man for the band and thus the one that audiences are more likely to recognize. The camera then quickly moves to a range of shots, with many extreme close ups on the lead singers face such as his eyes. It makes the video feel quite intimate to watch, as the singer seems to be vulnerable. Within the shots he looks sad or in pain.
